This summer the team at Johnsons Installation Services travelled far and wide to inaugurate our company among the antecedence of installation specialists throughout Europe.
Starting the summer in Brussels; we worked closely with a client of ours to install circa 1,800 pieces of furniture throughout their new building. Category A furniture types (desks, chairs and meeting tables) and Category B types (soft seating, pool tables, air hockey and fooze-ball tables) were installed to help create a balance of collectiveness and inclusiveness among the work force.
Entwining classic Belgian style of late nineteenth century Art Nouveau with a modern twist, design master Vincent Van Duysen featured heavily in our client’s inspiration to create a truly unique space.
We allocated a dedicated Project Manager to ensure their requirement of a turnkey solution was met with experience and precision. The PM’s core responsibility was liaising with the Designers, Architects, Furniture Manufacturers, Building Managers and Security Teams on site to ensure the works would be completed on time.
Tyler Doherty, who ran the project said: “We’ve been fortunate enough to work with a terrific team over the course of the project, and despite some challenges, we’ve been able to successfully install all items. Hopefully this will help to unlock our exposure to a wider market throughout the UK and Europe.”
Expanding into Europe has been a goal of the Johnsons’ branch for some time now and being provided the opportunity to work in cities of such distinguishable architecture and design, and to physically install those qualities into spaces of work and wonder is something we will be proud of for some time to come.
